H3C once again occupies the top spot in the Chinese Ethernet switch market

 According to the “China Ethernet Switch Market Quarterly Tracking Report (2023Q1)” released by IDC, H3C, under the Purple Mountain Holdings, ranked first in the Chinese Ethernet switch market with a 34.5% market share in the first quarter of 2023. Additionally, it held the first place with shares of 35.7% and 37.9% in the Chinese enterprise network switch market and the campus switch market, respectively, showcasing its strong leadership in the Chinese networking market.

The design incorporates advanced technologies such as liquid cooling and intelligent losslessness, resulting in an ultra-wide, low-latency, and energy-efficient smart network.

Building upon the foundation of smart, AI-embedded technology, H3C also introduced the next-generation smart AI core switch S12500G-EF, which supports 400G bandwidth and can be seamlessly upgraded to 800G. It utilizes unique lossless algorithms driven by AI, providing users with a wide, lossless networking experience. In terms of energy efficiency, S12500G-EF achieves dynamic noise reduction and intelligent power consumption control through AI, leading to a 40% energy savings, reducing data center operating costs by 61%, and effectively facilitating the construction of new green data centers.

In the campus: Driving Rapid Evolution of Campus Networks

The demand for cloud-based high-speed networking exists not only in data centers but also in campus scenarios. Facing the continuous development of smart campus businesses and an increasingly diverse range of application scenarios, H3C Group introduced the “Full-Optical Network 3.0 Solution.” This upgrade achieves scene adaptability, business assurance, and unified operation and maintenance capabilities, allowing for customized optical network solutions for various campuses. In the industrial field, industrial switches act as the “nervous system” network supporting industrial system operations. With a wide variety of industrial equipment and diverse industrial protocols, H3C Group launched a new series of industrial switches in April this year. This series fully integrates TSN (Time-Sensitive Networking) and SDN (Software-Defined Networking) technologies, and for the first time, integrates an industrial protocol stack into the self-developed network operating system Comware, breaking the ice between IT, CT (Communication Technology), and OT (Operational Technology). In terms of deployment, the product can be quickly initiated through a “plug-and-play” zero-configuration mode, where a single card supports enhanced Ethernet ring network functionality, saving labor and software costs.
