H3C and HPE Reach Consensus, Officially Sign New Long-term Strategic Sales Agreement

On August 3rd, H3C, a subsidiary of Tsinghua Unigroup, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company (referred to as “HPE”) officially signed a new strategic sales agreement (“the Agreement”). H3C and HPE are set to continue their comprehensive collaboration, maintaining their global strategic business partnership, and jointly providing the best digital solutions and services for customers in China and abroad. The Agreement outlines the following:

1. In the Chinese market (excluding China Taiwan and China Hong Kong-Macao region), H3C will continue to be the exclusive provider of HPE branded servers, storage products, and technical services, with the exception of customers directly covered by HPE as specified in the Agreement.

2. In the international market, H3C will operate and comprehensively sell products under the H3C brand globally, while HPE will maintain its existing OEM collaboration with H3C in the global market.

3. The validity of this strategic sales agreement is 5 years, with an option for automatic renewal for an additional 5 years, followed by yearly renewal thereafter.

The signing of this agreement reflects HPE’s confidence in H3C’s solid development in China, contributing to the continued expansion of HPE’s business in China. This agreement enables H3C to expand its overseas market presence, facilitating rapid growth towards becoming a truly global company. The mutually beneficial partnership is expected to effectively drive their respective global market developments.

Additionally, this agreement enhances H3C’s commercial interests, increases decision-making efficiency, and boosts operational flexibility, allowing H3C to allocate more resources and capital towards research and development, as well as broadening their reach in domestic and international markets, thereby continuously enhancing the company’s core competitiveness.
